As you woudl expect there is a crack team who are watching the weather forecast with baited breath!!! As you will have seen the predicted weather for Sunday is worse than 2 weeks ago when plan A was postponed. Plan B is not looking like the clear blue skies and 5kn of wind I had ordered! (Tomorrow looking good but what use is that!!!) I will keep you informed and advise accordingly. I think it looks like it has potential, better to be represented than not. If stocks are declining we need to act now and maybe this is the time \ option to do so. Better that decisions are made with all the information (though unlikely!). I guess the authorities are damned if they do and damned if they don't!! With MCZ's on the horizon and protected areas (Lyme bay), the new IFCA's, I feel more positive about the future of our sport than have for the previous 5 years +. Rob

All, I am looking for someone who is able to book competitors in to the Open comp on Sunday 18th Sept at Poole Sea Angling Centre. My usual staff are off on holiday or something so I need help! It is a case of, hand out forms and pens, receive cash and retain both cash and entry form page. You will need to be there just before 7 to be ready for the rush, and stay till 8. Thanks Rob

The good news was that word had spread or they had looked at teh weather, as no-one truned up by 08:00, so we went and amended the poster on the Quay and spoke to Andy at PSAC (whilst CA edited the dates on loads of handouts!!).
