A cheap rod these days is batter than what was a good rod 15 years ago. All, My lights are removable and plug in to sockets on the deck. The points in the socket seem to be sprung loaded stainless. However, one has some corrosion on it but I am unable to dismantle. On the plug, the contacts as small and there is some corrosion, green and rust. Again, difficult to clean. Is there a chemical \ liquid mix I can put on the contacts to remove this crud, of which I will protect with grease. Thanks Rob

As you woudl expect there is a crack team who are watching the weather forecast with baited breath!!! As you will have seen the predicted weather for Sunday is worse than 2 weeks ago when plan A was postponed. Plan B is not looking like the clear blue skies and 5kn of wind I had ordered! (Tomorrow looking good but what use is that!!!) I will keep you informed and advise accordingly.
