Permanent or temporary storage? That will probably make a difference. Rob
  2. No "Cancellation" Paul, I likr the word "Postponed"!!!! Thanks all for the support. Charlie A and I headed down to Cobbs this morning anyway for 06:30 to intercept and manage any confusion should participants arrive having not found out about the 2 week delay. The good news was that word had spread or they had looked at teh weather, as no-one truned up by 08:00, so we went and amended the poster on the Quay and spoke to Andy at PSAC (whilst CA edited the dates on loads of handouts!!). Cheers Rob
  3. Congrats, she needs a medal!!! I hope Tom can make the new Open date, as he had binned tomorrow due to wedding! Under the thumb before married!!! Seriously, hope you had a good day and enjoy life as man and wife. Rob

  6. All, Your comittee is keeing a keen eye on the weather for Sunday. Unless there is a sudden increase in wind the comp is most definatley ON!!! The card up our sleeve is that we may consider reducing the minimum weight-in specimen percentage from 50% to 33%. This would be to allow more fish to claim prizes should the weather restrict craft to fishing in the harbour and \ or just outside. This decision will be made tomorrow around midday / early afternoon, should it have an effect on your tactical planning!! Tight lines all, Rob

Tony, I think that this is a decision that the Open Comp Comittee (Me and Charlie) can make, but I am more than happy for the members to voice an opinion and we can make our decision bearing that opinion in mind. Rob
  9. What more could you want (no need to post, not really a question!!). We may have a pack of lures for every fish weighed in over 50% too! So, that's your

We are considering the removal of the "Silver Eel" from the list of available species due to the decline in numbers and it is listed as "Critically Endangered" by IUCN and like the UNDulate a UKBAP proirity Species. The Undulate is listed by IUCN as "Endangered". Thoughts? Thanks Rob UKBAP is a Government initative: UK Biodiversity Action Plan IUCN is International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources
