Unbelieveable, your all lined in a roe to take a pop at this serious topic!
I hope this goes off the boil shortly!
Anyway, who is going to hatch a cunning plan to win the Open with this new bait?
Any one winning the Open with SeaSpawn, I will buy a Scotch(egg) and take a piccy for the albumen
Egg-cellent Dave, you crack me up!
Derek - Um, not sure, interesting idea!!!!!!!!
Maybe a big of these SeaSpawn in a small netting bag?
Keep the ideas flowing guys, no one will poach your ideas or laugh if you get egg on you face!
Rob
All,
If you have a seat going on your boat or you wish to crew for the Open. Please feel free to use this thread for making the arrangements.
2 weeks to go!!!
Thanks
Rob
I think Charlie A and I saw you from Star turn If it was Friday you were out!
I said to Charlie, I wouldn't want to be a yaker in a straight line from the piers to poole entrance! Easily mowed down by any number of craft racing back in!
Glad you got back to write the report!
Rob
A very similar idea to the B.A.S.S. tape - as seen here:

The length to weight conversion table is here:

All,
This Thursday (18th Aug) it is the start of the 4 day Bournemouth Airshow.
Charlie A, Sam A and I expect to be out on Thurday and possibly Friday on StarTurn.
Anyone else thinking of being out on the water for it?
We expect to get a little fishing in too, obviously!!!!
Rob
With the discussion on Udulates and their protected status being raised in other forums and being raised on Thursday at the Club meeting and questions raised and a motion passed to not allow them to be brought to the scales at the Open.
I thought I woudl find out and cotact the Southern IFCA and see what they say.
I had a very swift reply from Ian Carrier:
Fairly clear I think, assuming we are non commercials. However, as we are lucky enough to have a large population of Undulate locally, we should look after them as a club and keep on putting them back.
Rob
This is what they look like, beautiful:
No problem Tom please go ahead and use the pics, as long as you have the name Dblandford and website address http://www.skyeye2.co.uk/ in the bottom corner.
Dave will also be interested out of curiosity, what they are and how they are used!
Cheers
Rob
Tom, I dont think he will mind - I have a higher res version available, though it is only a 2-mega pixel in the toy plane!! Though, as you will know, it's all about the lens!!!!
Will ask and advise,
Rob
