I think there is \ was a pinned topic somewhere but it is a nightmare to find!!!
I think it should be pinned under "Club Talk" or similar. Mr Admin, is that possible?
Thanks

Will some one delete this post and users account?
The Admin need to ensure they don't delete all the accounts that write rubbish as a few of our popular memebers accounts could go!!!! Inc. mine!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the same side of the road as Davis Tackle but by the railway bridge.
Used to be a tool or car hire place I think.

You can't beat AutoGlym SRP - many of the car detailers use it as a base before applying a wax. I do once a year on the cars - JoJo has naver seen polish, but then again she is ABS plastic and not fibre and gelcoat.

I have used online design websites for my boat lettering. Not sure which site but was like this:

I have been thinking of this topic for a little while now and reading Adam's report made me put it down in this post.
We regularly accept fish weights on a trust basis, this is fine and a nice feature of the club. However, is the angler being misled by his \ her scales?
I used to often hang carrier bags with bottles of lemonade in and ensuring that a 2litre bottle was 2kg etc........on my analogue dial scales.
I must admit, now that I have digital scales I only did it when I first bought them.
Who else checks their scales to verify them?
Remember to check not only the 1lb \ 2lb weights but right up to the limit of the scales!

Paul,
Woudl the Club be in a position to make a donation? Google advert funds or some of our hoard?

Dan - nice to see you coming out of the shadows

Nice one Dave. I found my Sea Safety Check excellent and informative.
Good to see LC is up and running again, I am guessing the species hunt leaders better watch out!!
See you Thursday

stick the Yak on the car
Thinking about it - i am not sure there would be room to take it up the stairs as they are quite tight!
Shame you missed the summer BBQ that would have been a good opportunity.
This is getting more complicated by the hour!!!

The actual change of membership status and sending out of info. is a manual one.
I am sure the dedicated web peeps will be on you case soon enough - unfortunaltey we are still saving up for the full time admin totty in the club, but hey we have to spend all our cash on something!!!
If you come to the meet on Thursday you may even get a prestigeous membership card if Bob F is there.

Well um - if not the full setup - then not sure, that's why I asked.
Be interested how you buoy your warp ready for release, how you attach rods to the Yak in-case of a roll!
Not sure really as I have only ever given you guys a wide berth due to the wash. I guess we could do a flypast next time but not soure you woudl be too happy!!!

gps? plotter?
in Boat Talk

There are GPS devices that have no maps \ charts, but some have basic charts and data (my backup Garmin has marine buoy data and that is about it).
A plotter has fully Navigation charts held electronically, they do everyting! Tides charts, Tidal flows, depths, obstructions, Moon and Sun data. Details of VHF channels for habours etc.
