After Dartmouth i had a failing brake on the trailer. The lining had come away from the shoe.
I got the kit needed delivered and set to work.
Having taken the drums apart i felt i needed to clean them up a bit.
Various BiltHamber products were bought.
Well, JVs tender motor is now sorted. Couple of new gaskets, anode and fuel filter. Plus cracked handle repair.
Started within a couple of pulls after assembly. Tonight is have set the tickover and run it up for 40 mins.
It now starts with a single pull as i would expect it to.
Quick repair to the inside of the cowling and all is good to return it to its owner.
The colour of the fuel filter suggests it hadn't been changed from the "service" it had.
The amount of crud taken from the fuel tank was caught in my red Coleman fuel filter.
Photo of the handle and cowling repair.
No problemo!
Being a Poole based club, our waters are from Portland Bill and At Catherine's. North to the mainland and south to the coast of France.
Good luck in the comp.
Rob
Well.......best specimen over the 3 dates - not necessarily 1st, 2nd & 3rd (depends on prizes I have etc).
Indeed, species comp is their best score the junior fishes not total, hence, Jayden is on an equal footing fishing just once.

All, tomorrow I need the names of all entrants for the last junior comp on 24th. No entrants can be added after tomorrow. So far I have:
24th September
Jayden Wald age 11 - Alfresco
Reuben Franklin - Joint Venture
Olivia Francis - Joint Venture
Sam Annear - Joint Venture
Dom Annear - Joint Venture
Lucy Marriott - Serenity
Blake Witheford - Kingfisher
Jacob Givans - Kingfisher
Chris Samways - Solan
Charlotte Samways - Solan
Afraid not Paul. The reason for the last day has been to keep the kids all fishing on the same day and it will risk loosing them for the BBQ.
Good luck in Shoreham, hopefully we can still see you at Cobb's.
Rob
I have these, as so others in the club. They are great except designed for freshwater in the US! So, when the rams rust (they will) replace with stainless ones. I have done this and so far so good.
