Why not get a newer outboard for better fuel economy? Tomo had a 225 on his pirate and that I believe was ok on fuel. Except when he had a problem with some fuel regulator, it then drank like a fish. R

The 2 days dose indeed give flexability but the single sunday is to get as many anglers to Cobbs on th day. Remember you only have to fish 1 day to take part in the species and specimen comps. Rob

I think Duncan / BathClaret had movers on the wheels of his trailer and it had a high battery post. As you say the battery in / on the car is useless at Baiter. I have an Anderson connector in the bow of my boat that I can plug my mover in to, for positioning the trailer on the drive etc. You could do similar but need cable c. Length of winch strap that you let out. Do you guys keep your manual winch incase of failure of motor/ battery etc? Would a 2 speed manual winch not be an alternative? R

I don't see why you can't offer your services but often coming to meetings and club events as a member gets you known and invited before posts even make the website.
