Yes, you will get clobbered for duty if you buy online. That's why I mentioned a trip to the States. Even if you go to the States you still have the problem of buying it online. They've got to ship it to an address somewhere, and you ain't got a home address in the States, unless you are staying at a friends (hint, hint). Best not to say too much on the web.

Here's the Flounder that I caught up the Wareham Channel on 9th Nov. Biggest of 3 caught. 1lb 7oz. A PB for me.

Here's the photo of the venue. We fished it last Tuesday. In the distance are the two Severn Bridges, but you can't really make them out.

Hi Mark, Top baits are apparently, squid, lug and crab for cod in the channel. So, I'd say that lug was pretty essential. It's a long way and a long day, so we might as well go to the effort of getting the right baits. Not sure how long we will stay. It depends on the concensus. I have to work on Weds so I don't want to stay all night. Back home at 2-3am would do me, but if the fishing is good I'll want to stay longer. If its dead, we'll come back earlier. Whats does everyone else think? Bob F.
