The 200 barrels will only be a guess, the volume of reservoir fluid pumped to the surface is not routinely measured and they probably don't know when the leak started. You can therefore assume the actual quantity is more. The 80% water is very nasty stuff and has to be treated before it can be pumped back down the well.
