  1. I was just thinking about this ........and yes why not! So Bass comp will be held 26th - 28th - please book in as normal, indicating the day you plan to fish PS - I will be looking to crew if anyone has a spare place!
  2. Happy Birthday Steve
  3. Brian, I agree with Mick on the Hempel Tiger Extra - I changed to it and it was the best product I have used for many years - and at a good discount at the Cobbs Chandlers. Try getting into the dry stack - no anti foul required and a quick phone call before leaving home and it's in the water ready to go!
  4. If you look inside the Cobbs Chandlers they usually have special offers on Anti foul. They sell huge amounts............ Buy the self eroding and self polishing one appropriate to the boat usage and speed. How often do you use the boat? Is it permanently in the water? If your usage is low and the boat isn't kept in the water - you don't need it all. And if it is just a garden ornament .......................

    Rod Repair

You should have had it fixed by now....... Just drop it in at Castaways on the way past and pick it up the following week, it will save you all the messing about. It is an easy fix - but you have spent more time and effort on here than getting it sorted. Sound familiar?

  17. Thanks Jerry for the report. A big thank you to Dave Wilson and MDL for sponsoring the day. Thanks to Kev for the piss taking all day and well done Jerry on your first competition A well deserved recommendation for Ryan the skipper of Ocean Runner - who I am sure will very soon be making his mark as one of Poole's top Charter Skippers. A great boat and I am sure that when he gets his new toy he will seriously challenge the rest of the fleet. Cheers - Neal

  20. The ones supplied by the club as prizes and in my opinion the best ones are the Salter Brecknell Digital Hand Held Digital Scales They are used at all our and Poole Sea Angling Centre Weigh-ins. I also use mine to weigh luggage when travelling. They do 3 weight capacities 10 Kg (22 lb) 25 Kg (55 lb) 45 Kg (99 lb) The 25 Kg is the most popular and covers most of what we are likely to catch.
