I have been offered 5lbs box of squid for 6.25 but have to buy 12 box's to get it at that price has anybody found it cheaper if so where.

Hello adam, i will be out this weekend going place fishing as we have ebb tide most of the day with eastly winds so should give a nice driff along the chines. I have done alright during last week and there was a 4lbs2oz plaice caught on sunday along with brill and turbot.

I never realised that when I advertised for crew I'd get such a response. I ended up with the whole Chapman family, Jnr,Snr and old man! Also Paul J. When we finally got to the first wreck, it was down to jnr Chapman and the old man to lead the way, in fact I think the whole Chapman family lead the way when it came to catching pollock. you can tell its the end of the season, as the pollock were mostly small and few and far between. I was pleased to see a nice plump cod come on board, which made Deans day, all in all a nice day out with the Chapmans, his boys are a good couple of fisherman, the old mans not to bad either. Enjoyable day, that will be my last wrecking trip of the season, Rich I haven't forgot you but every time I phone you your always out on someone elses boat, hopefully get you out next year wrecking.Unless your up for trying for a winter cod one weekend later on in the year?

the cod have started to show,the boys in the docks had a 6.5lbs on true blue and they have been in the nets and pots two. anybody getting bulk orders of squid again?

I may need two crew on saturday weather permitting wrecking on the mid channel wrecks down to the west leaving poole at 6.45 if anyone is up for it give me a pm with your phone number so i can call you cheers matt.

Good to see that you had a good day, myself, Simon and Adam are hopeing to give this shark fishing a go,in my boat how many gallons of your attracter did Steve put out? Did you leave it hanging over the side or did you just pour it over board and drift with the scent? I believe it was about a fifteen mile drift, how far out were you? Any advice would be appreciated. I am not sure whats going to be written in the magazine or which pictures are going to be used. But I had a good chat with Brian about the club, so we will just have to wait and see. Sam I haven't forgotten you mate, I will get you out hopefully sooner rather than later.

What a day it was a special day out today because i had some guy's from sea angler on board today who will be doing artical on the trip in a future publication. So knowing this I rushed out and brought myself PBSBA top to look smart hoping that I may get my photo in the magazine and give the club some publicy-did that happen-NO!!!Perfect weather, flat calm seas and lots of sun! We went out to the wrecks on the 40 mile mark, and were hoping for more variety of fish but just pollock. The only thing they took photos off was of them, holding my fish-as they were 14lb to 16lb, and the boat as it left Poole. I think they enjoyed there selves, even though I had to show them how to do it!!

Thanks everybody for your advice about my battery problem which has now be solved. it turn out to be my battery switch not changeing over from bank one or two to both all the time. so hopefully Adam i will get you and the others out soon off to Alderny on fri for two days to take a look around.

Has anybody been to Norway fishing for the big cod in feb/mar any info would be a help looking to take the old man next year for his birthday.

Don't worry about that sam i will get you out with us over the summer holiday we will leave ya old boy at home or work and you can come along with the useall crew and have some fun.

Does anyone have a battery tester to check if my 12v batterys are dead which are linked to create 24v descharger ?

He caught that while i was the skipper in fact all his fish came while i was driveing.
