Zzippy Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Posted January 19, 2011 Yes Mate. I have been in too much pain for the last few months and Kayaking is just agrivating my condition I am still going to be a member of PBSBAC though.I enjoy the meets(When I am not too busy at work) and hopefully might be able to get out and crew for people if they need company or willing to take me. Quote
Graham Nash Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Thats a real shame .... you have been very well known and respected in the kayak fraternity. I am sure there will be plenty of offers for you to join people as crew. I am certainly hoping to get out much more this year and with you working those silly hours you do, you might be the perfect person to know Quote
pirky Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Sorry to hear this mate.......I always looked forward to your reports and piccys. Hope you get what you want for it all . ..and keep coming to the meetings.......you have been sadly missed the last few months. Dave Quote
Jim Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Sad news Mark. I wondered why we hadn't seen or heard from you. I'll bear you in mind if I need crew. Jim Quote
Zzippy Posted January 20, 2011 Author Report Posted January 20, 2011 Cheers lads. The reason I have missed the last few meetings was too much work on.I have been putting in loads of overtime. Then once the spring comes I tend to ease off on the O/T But the kayaking stopped because of my Back problems. great white Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Sorry to hear that your back is forcing to give up the kyaking Mark I hope that is gets better and when you return to normal working hours we can tempt you out fishing on one of the Members boats have a speedy recovery Charlie Quote

Adam F Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Why doesnt the club look at buying this as per the last meeting?? I know we said new would be better, but it looks like many man hours has gone into getting this kitted out to this spec - something hard to do with a new one? Just a thought. Quote
pirky Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 AND ....a very good one Adam...... IF the committee are going down that route. Dave Quote
