I'm not willing to kill 2-300 mackeral just for chum. I'll give James and Trevor a call. duncan Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 I would drift - more comfotable and covers a greater area - the chum trail stays with you. surely it's all going to be a matter of the wind/tide relationship? ideally you would drift with a light NE or SW (either with or against the tide) but may need to anchor with NW or SE to stay connected to your chum line at all! anyway - I'm sure you will work it all out on the day, and look forward to seeing the pictures...
