Maverick Martin Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 Welcome David You won't find a better place to learn the ropes. Just ask the questions join in and you will get answers. You would learn even quicker if you joined the club proper, easy to do on paypal Martin Quote
Coddy Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 Hi and welcome to the forum I am sure you will soon feel at home and join in the batter. Ask away any questions, which may seem silly or otherwise as we all have to start somewhere and we all continue to learn new tricks and proceedures. Were do you intend to launch from? Poole, Christchurch/Mudeford? In both locations you need to be of some of the hazzards, tides etc. I am sure you will get some good advice so dive in and enjoy. Hope to see you out on the water sometime, what boat do you have? We use channel 6 on the VHF when out and about so you can always call out for any PBSBAC members to meet up or chat to. Dave Quote

Brian Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Hi David Welcome to the club. As you're going to be launching at Baiter or Wareham, you're obviously fairly local, so will probably see you out and about. Are you any relation to Rob Honeybun who used to work at The Admiralty at Holton Heath? Edited October 7, 2011 by Brian Quote
