Hooky
The only feelings I have is utter dispare. I'm a idiot , not insured , no chance of affording another The Police did however respond very quickly, tried to take prints, none found A slim chance of CCTV from the top of,the old Poole bridge ?? Not often do i cry , I have loved the (4 outings) one this old boat.transom now smashed and hacked, cables ripped out . They knew it was there , locked compound , tore down the fence , they must have taken the right tools . 12years of waiting and scrimping for what , ? Stuie
Miserable time for you. If you're prepared to go public, possibly with pics, try the Poole office of the Echo on 01202 675413 - one reporter there is Di Henderson. Hooky
Went out today with Wedger Fantastic day:Oooooooooo Now fallen in need of a new boat for next season. No way will the wife will put up with my pleadings for months on end so decision made. I will never be able to leave any boat down my yard in Poole: I'm going to get something (20 ft ish with inboard diesels ) so the wife is going on eBay ,I'm going to sell all my 'toys' etc etc so I can join the Christchurch massive ASAP . I'm SO sorry Wedger, for taking me out and leaving me to catch all those fishisss:Why is it the skipper always struggle when the 'Hooky Guru' does the Bizz !, So sorry about the Cuttlefish painting your boat (just a little more than fantastic eating btw) The wife's on the warpath ; it's all Trevs fault that the new kitchen will have to wait for another year or so !!!!!!!! Coddy
Sounds like the downward spiral to me. Good luck on your hunt for a suitable craft. I can hear the grief from the FPO from here! Dave
Jim
Don't stretch the FPO's purse too far. Leave enough for some INSURANCE. Good luck. Jim

great white
Just seen this, gutted for you mate Hope that you get what you want, without to much grief from FPO. Have a good look into all of the costs before you commit, Bigger boats certainly have advantages, but these sure do come with a price tag. I hope the police catch the bastards Charlie

Try this Bit longer but right size engine. Just the job, perfect, shame it's going to have to wait until this time next year I'm still not giving up looking, sorry no pictures of the exact motor, . It had brand new fins fitted, it's a 2003/4 Mercury 40 twin cylinder 2 stroke twin / long shaft Please keep your eyes peeled, not that many of them around. Because of the way it was ripped off( cables cut etc) I believe these scum are far from intelligent. I forgot to add, they also had the fuel tanks, steering bar, so,if you do boot sales Please, please, do all,you can to protect your gear. Please be aware that even if it is recovered ,you need to prove its your property, if you can't these scum will not be prosecuted , they will keep it, that's what they rely on. Hooky
Smartwater delivered today, everything is going to get painted . I am also pleased, if not a little humbled by the offer of a free pontoon mooring in Poole Thanks , does not come close. I have been asked by the donator that he does not want to be named, his own boat spends most of its time in storage, he does not get much time for boating these days so it's mine when I need it Engine is getting bolted through the transom, gearbox hard wired, boat with Almax chain to the mooring, security cameras covering the whole area., I'm aware this part of the forum is public, it's possible that the scum that do this are looking on websites like this to see 'whose got what and where it is' If you get caught you will have far more to deal with than a few hours community service, that IS a promise .
