Jim Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 Wow ! That's what I thought as I zipped out from Poole Harbour today. My engine's done the " run in " and today was my first chance to " give it some " and see what the Tidler could do on a flat sea. 30 knots or 34.5 mph ! ! ! She sits beautifully on the water too. I did a bit of fishing and caught my ususal . . . . .nowt ! The day was all about me getting used to my boat. Well -- - - - -I'm in love. It's wicked. Saw Stuie in the harbour and after a chat, he took some pictures of the Tiddler in action. I'm hoping he'll post a few on here. This probably reads like an advert or sales pitch. I'm just chuffed. Stopped for a chat with the skipper of Kelly's Hero on the way back through Holes Bay. Then saw Martin at Cobb's slipway. A very good day to be out, and a lovely boat to be afloat on. Jim Quote

Jim Posted May 13, 2013 Author Report Posted May 13, 2013 There are some good points of crap weather. Gives us a chance for some TINKERING Tiddler's new tubes are now fitted. I've raised my GPS. It was hidden behind the Steering wheel and now I can see it clearly. I've mounted some Mahogany to screw accessories to. Still lots more tinkering to do but it's time for some nice weather now. We can but hope ! Jim niggle and Rob 2 Quote
