Retrowagon
Well guys after much deliberation and thinking I decided to get rid of "My Newt" She was just to small for me as I'm such a big lad. So having seen one for sale/swap in the for sale section, I sent an email and got one back this has gone on for 4 or 5 days. The end result is I have a new boat hence big smiley face ...... :0) Just need to work out how to put the pics up lol

Retrowagon
How big is the engine ? It looks a bit small to me. Yes now there lies a slight problem .... I've kept my 40hp mariner off of my old boat to fit on the new one.... However the boat requires a long shaft, and yes you've guessed it, my engine is a short shaft On the plus side the man I did the deal with, has let me borrow the 25 HP which wasn't included in the sale, but was on the boat for a month while I get mine sorted(converted to LS) or source a long shaft motor of some description . So you are right Jim
Rob
Converted - doubt it could be viable unless you find a scrapped LS. As the lower cowling / exhaust etc will be wrong. Then the drive shaft in the g/box will be too short!
