Well....................that didn't go as planned!!

 

Weather forecast for 10 mph winds with gusts........it was blowing a bloody hooley

 

Awful conditions and no 'target Species'

 

Stuie caught a cuttlefish which covered absolutely everything with ink. 

 

Caught enough mackerel for livebait - but the only fish caught was a 12lb Pollack

 

Couldn't even catch a plaice in the harbour.

 

 

Not the best of days to be out fishing - everyone who didn't go, made a better choice!

You've made me feel a lot better, I was itching to get out and compete today but have been stuck indoors the whole of

this weekend working on a tender that has to be in tomorrow by 1.00PM.

 

Well done for braving it out.

 

Better luck in the Ray Comp. Brad has insisted we have to enter that. Let's pray for good weather.

We came back in the harbour still white horses

Good to be out anyway, even if you did get thrown about

Jacob. Bass 1 lb 2 oz and released

Plaice 1lb 1 oz

Kev Plaice 15 oz

 

But I did have a 2 lb 2 oz tub gurnard

Not the nicest of days out there fishing and very slow going but me and emma managed

1lb 15 oz plaice

5 tub gurnards

and my first ever red mullet.
