lady jane Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Not sure how to post link. Seems to read no bass to be kept for first part of the year and then one instead of three allowed to be kept. Andy Quote

Paul J Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 Update here Fishing Ministers accused of ‘shameful conservation con trick’ over bass stocks http://www.ukbass.com/fishing-ministers-accused-of-shameful-conservation-con-trick-over-bass-stocks/ Nigel H cover its well below: a few comments to Sifca's facebook page or website wouldn't go a miss chaps "Sea anglers are justifiably furious with this outcome for not only threatening their future sport, but also for the blatant disregard for any fairness or justice in allocating these 'fishing opportunities' between anglers and commercial fishermen. This is a shameful result." Steve S 1 Quote
Brian Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 Pity we haven't got any ministers with backbones, they always give in to pressure. Quote
2006holmwood Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 This is the problem when you push too hard to conserve fish stocks , B.A.S.S wanted restrictions on bass retention and now its come back to bite them in the a#se. Luckily I dont rate bass to eat that much, but still like to catch them on a c&r basis. We should be trying to conserve all fish stocks not just one.Thats my two pennysworth on the subject. Leicester Fisheagle Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 Signed with Ann, we were around number 90. Understand we need 10, 000 signatures to get a reply and 100,000 for it to be raised in Parliament. Could someone give this more prominence, perhaps in the public area? Allan. Quote
