Coddy Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Only 190lts/hr I suppose is not bad for a 50+ft craft Comes an expensive trip to the IOW cod grounds from Poole though! Quote
Maverick Martin Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 190 litres per hour at over 90 mph equates to approximately 2 litres per mile which is good for a boat that size but more than that it would be bloomin good fun Quote
Rob Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Only 190lts/hr I suppose is not bad for a 50+ft craft Comes an expensive trip to the IOW cod grounds from Poole though! Only 39 ft Dave - so not such good gph!!! Not sure fuel cost is an issue in the US, especially if you have bought this is the first place. Biggest problem here is we don't get enough flat calm days to open many of our boats up! We seem to have the pleasure of 360 days of either swell or residual swell, backing to short chop from wind against tide!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Quote
Coddy Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Rob I was looking at their NEW craft which was displayed at Fort Lauderdale Boat Show this year, it was on another YouTube and I don't think it did 90mph but around 70+mph It is aimed at those who live in the Bahamas and other tropical Islands or those who own an Island that way! I don't think Britain is tropical enough however Look here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYd0WRey1P4 Quote
Steve S Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 Now that is one nice boat, looks like it can handle bad weather as well. Just be a bit chilly for local waters, or am I going soft? Jim 1 Quote
Kingfisher 126 Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 Blimey there is a boat with more rod holders than Wishing Too, you need to get one Nige!!! It looks like it maybe a few knots quicker too! Jim, Neal, niggle and 3 others 6 Quote
great white Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 There must be some rich anglers around if they can afford such toys Jim 1 Quote
