Adam F Posted May 7, 2016 Author Report Posted May 7, 2016 On the basis that we have 4 or 5 boats now not able to make it and a couple unsure, with a very borderline forecast that gives gusts in excess of Jims max flying speed and the fact we haven't agreed a firm start time, I suggesting we postpone and go for another try in 2 weeks. To make this work we need plenty of boats and decent conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Rob Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 Could always do it before the bream comp, still give comp entrants their 6hrs of fishing. Bramble banker 1 Quote
Bramble banker Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 Could always do it before the bream comp, still give comp entrants their 6hrs of fishing. I would be up for that, hopefully others would too and we would have a better turn out on the comp winner winner Quote
Ark Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 Bugger I stayed down tonight Never mind Chris Ian Dave and Jacob Kept me out so many pints laterite think I will need a lay in BTW made hard work of comp today only 12 species But a good day out better luck next time Good night Quote

Adam F Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 Apologies to anyone who had made plans. Clearly the weather was fine for the boats but it was the drone I was more concerned about, being expensive and not mine! Had a text from Alun fishing off Milford who said it was pretty breezy so the pier can pic is a bit misleading. Let's try the 22nd May? Yes it's the bream comp but means plenty of boats will be out. gjb Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 They are useing mine at the poole boat show so can't make it but look forward to the rest graham Jim 1 Quote

Jim Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 I was wondering if they would Graham. Hope it's all in your favour ! Jim Quote
Jim Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 I'll smuggle a few Rag worm and bits of fish on board and secrete them away somewhere. That'll liven things up a bit. Jim Maverick Martin 1 Quote
great white Posted May 8, 2016 Report Posted May 8, 2016 Good call today guys I was at ballard by 7, it started raining and the wind came up The drone would not have flown today When the sun came out it was nice in Swanage, gentle warm breeze. For the second day running much better there than in Poole, and a few better size bream too. niggle, Kingfisher 126 and Stuie 3 Quote
Adam F Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 Nice to hear Charlie, I was feeling pretty guilty for the last minute call last night when I woke to a sunny calm morning. All on for the 22nd then. Quote
Jim Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 My Brother & myself went over between Corfe & Studland @ 12:30 lunch time. Went up to 400 feet no problems. Both drones flew well. Got quite blowy later on though. I was scraping loose paint off the house and slapping new stuff on by then. Jim Quote
Rob Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 Looking good on the forecast for Drone Flight on Sunday - who is in. 1. JoJo - (still have some final negotiations to complete) 2: Quote

gaffa Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 Sorry Guys Not able to do Bream Comp or Promo shoot this weekend Quote
Jim Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 Let's try to get this organised properly if it's going ahead please. Just checked the weather ( again ) and so far it's improving for Sunday morning. Reasonable breeze from the south east so sheltered in Studland bay. Starts to go down hill after 10:00 though. So - - - we could plan on a lie in and catch the 08:30 bridge lift to meet up in Studland bay for 09:00 ish or would 09:15 be better? I already know 2 who can't make it. Gaffa & GJB Let's look at the numbers of who's in & who's out. Jim Quote
