fisherman1055 Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Thanks Alun - looking good Some lucky person will win this, sorry it can't be me this year tony Quote
Neal Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Well done Alun, I might have to impose a strict start / finish time to prevent the very very early rush to be the first to get to the secret flounder mark!!!! Unless - of course I am offered an incentive of some sort. Highest bidder gets to go first!!!! Or not Ark 1 Quote
Sam Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Looks great. What time does the weigh in open/close on Sunday Quote
Neal Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Weigh in will be at Cobbs Quay 5pm - until 5.30pm - which allows for bridge opening times / getting across town etc I should be there shortly after 4.30 if anyone (everyone?) wants to get there earlier. Neal Quote
Maverick Martin Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 I also have a box of goodies that will either be won in descending order of weight or if not enough fish caught by raffle ticket. Only One prize each, hopefully everyone will go home with something See you all Sunday Jim, niggle and Ark 3 Quote

Brian Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 I hope you all have more luck on Sunday than I had today. We tried various places in the harbour, as did Trevor on Geddar, loads of schoolies pinching the bait, but not a single Flounder. Quote

Rob Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 You draw too much depth, out drives and outboards only on the "spot"! Jim 1 Quote
Sam Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 cant believe we are all staying in the harbour, many 20ft from there moorings with the current forecast. got a feeling I will be spending sunday wishing I was near a different island. but got to be in it to win it, and with jayden showing an interest and keen to go I shouldn't complain Jim, Reel Wizzard, gjb and 5 others 8 Quote
great white Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 You would need to add some more fuel in Braye, before coming back Sam. Stick to chasing flounders and a very nice hamper son. Jim, Ark and niggle 3 Quote
Mike Fox Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 There's nothing wrong with flounder fishing with an 8/0 pennel and a bunch of squid Sam 1 Quote
Ark Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 Morning chaps Is this a 7 hour comp as per normal, or can we have longer drowning worms Good luck to all that fish Quote

Neal Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 So - 10am until 4pm it is then! or maybe a little bit earlier to allow for coffee and lunch breaks............. I will of course be taking my boat up to the secret mark to see if anyone is starting before then! It's Christmas - just go out and enjoy the day - leave the Mrs with the credit card and hope she comes back with a fishy present or two! Neal Quote
Mike Fox Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 The next round of repairs on Feisty are now allegedly complete. Will check things out today, and if Carol can shift this cold, we might even be entering. Mike Quote
