The annual ray competition is this coming weekend

 

Competitors may fish either day - please book in as normal and state which day you intend to fish

Neither of the boys are available, so unless Wendy fancies it I may need some crew.

Tarlach will be out on the eastern Solent on Sunday fishing for rays in the comp ! (Sort to repeat but just realised I posted in the wrong post).

You'll need to be in the western Solent for you catch to count!

Does anyone know where the line actually is in the western solent, I dont have a chart to hand. Is lymington in, bramble bank?

Straight up from at Catherine's, catches the end of Calshot spit and is to the west of the Hamble.

Thanks Rob, to be honest i didn't know where st Catherine's was, I will adjust my location and head to the west marks instead ! Apologies for my ignorance!

Being a Poole based club, our waters are from Portland Bill and At Catherine's. North to the mainland and south to the coast of France.
