Flounder Comp 15th December

Annual Flounder Competition 15th December

 

The usual rules and conditions apply to the competition, and this year Andy from Poole Sea Angling has an open flounder comp on the same day.

This like the Cod competition means members can fish both competitions, signing in at PSA as per the picture. 

Reminder to follow nearer the time.

Can someone advise me whether the tide runs for Flounder fishing are suitable for that Sunday?

They look to be the largest tide available for that comp so I would say yes decent tides albeit ebbing from 11am

 

Tide making until 10:45 then falling away from 2.2m down to .6  Other tides in December are imo to small to consider

Looking at the boats signed in, I expect that's where most were planning to be anyway !!

A quick question
In the past dogfish Dave let me use the slip for my kayak, once or twice a year I fished Holes Bay. Is he still the main man?
I wouldn’t want to get clamped or something
