Jim
I'm hoping to find a few later. Wednesday looks good. Still waiting for a couple of parts for service. It's flipping lovely today but I wouldn't want to be out there it'll be busy as hell ! Anyone who got up early and went will have a great day I suspect. Wife and myself went over to back of Brownsea near pottery pier , there must of been 40 boats there later, some complete idiots among them!! Lovely day though, we got there about 8.30 and came in at 2PM to miss all the madness ( not you Martin !!😁 ) Maverick Martin, Jim and plaicemat

Steve S
The Mack's are still thin on the ground, I tried repeatedly on Monday in various places and didn't get one.The May rot is somewhat patchy, nowhere I saw was clear, some places quite dense. Lures are still working but not as well as in clearer water. It will be interesting to get a report from someone who has been fishing somewhat offshore. There are a few bass around now.A trawler has been working off Southborne for plaice. A charter tried for them on Monday had 10, all small. Jim and plaicemat

iansimpson63
We had over 40 mackerel today between St Aldheims Head and Dancing Ledge, they were hooked 1, 2 and 3 at a time. Also some good size Bream, Pollock, small Bass and 1 good sized keeper. Hopefully the mackerel will move east soon and appear in the bay. Adam F
We were offshore yesterday. Water was lovely and clear just the odd small patch of May water around. Mackerel very thin on the ground though. We tried a couple of times on the way back in with just a couple of singletons. In other news the bass fishing was good!
