Jim Posted February 25, 2021 Report Posted February 25, 2021 Hi all, I'm on the scrounge. Just in case anyone's chucking out any furniture or similar made from real Hardwood. Not the modern Chipboard, MDF, Plywood etc. Real, solid wood. It'll save you a trip to the tip. And I get to cut it up for the pieces of nice wood to use on my engraver / router. Thanks in advance. iansimpson63 Posted February 25, 2021 Report Posted February 25, 2021 I heard there was some Tiger Wood found in a ditch recently, apparently its worth a lot of money even though it is damaged. boyscott, niggle, fisherman1055 and 5 others 2 6 Quote
Jim Posted February 26, 2021 Author Report Posted February 26, 2021 Tiger wood is good but Dog wood stinks. All types of interesting wood required. 😉 Quote

Jim Posted April 7, 2021 Author Report Posted April 7, 2021 In my SPARE time . . . . . . . . . . . . We cleaned the pond out due to cracks and lined it. We had to make it frog friendly or as Wallace & Gromit would say " innable & outable " So I dreamed up a Frog Walkway for them. Just fitted it in place. And Zoomed in: Posh Frogs ! PeteS Posted May 31, 2021 Report Posted May 31, 2021 I’ve got an old teak garden lounger you can have. I was going to repair it but changed my mind. Some good chunky bits on it, though it has been painted. I’ll put it on freecycle if you’re not interested. Maverick Martin and Jim 2 Quote
