Myself and Kev hatched a plan for a bit of bassing on the small tide then anchor over the slack water tide change.

We had a few bass on the ebb when we got there, the tide was dropping away so dropped the anchor.

The wind held us at an angle that was a pain but just about fishable.
We had many congers from 18” to about 12lb and Kev got a bonus blonde ray of 11 1/2lb.

When tide picked up we decided to try for bass again but it was very quiet.
A nice day out with good company as we haven’t fished together for a while, thanks Kev.
Always good to know club boats are around having a good day too.
