Book in here!!

Sunday is our annual bream comp. Forecast looks OK at the moment, but a bit of wind is scheduled for early next week, so we will keep a close eye on this.

Tides for Poole Entrance here:

Sun 18 May

LW HW LW HW LW HW LW

02:45 07:49 10:17 11:55 15:00 19:35 22:38

0.8 m 1.8 m 1.5 m 1.7 m 0.8 m 2.0 m 1.6 m

I'll be on holiday in Rome on Sunday for my 1st Wedding Anniversary, so will miss the comp ( rolleyes.gifblink.gif ) but I'll be around until Sat eve for booking in and calling the comp re. weather.

The winner from last Sunday reported over 200lb of bream between two of them from a mark to the west ohmy.gif

This is also the 2nd comp for the BFM league - so we need at least 15.

Who's in then??

Notice a change in the forecast for Sunday, not looking very promising????

Was just looking at that myself as well - looks a bit grim at the moment. Going wrecking tomorrow, so presumably will be clearer as to what the forecast holds by end of Friday.

Thanks for the support all. biggrin.gif

The forecast is border line IMO at the moment. Its showing F5 NNE dropping in the afternoon.

I'll keep a close eye on it and make a call on Saturday afternoon.

I am up for fishing but waiting for crew. But will crew if anyone will have me.

I have also had an email from Craig of the Burnham club who have asked to fish, I have said more than welcome but weather is not looking great.

Met office 3 to 4 increasing 5 to 7 although Windguru max 14 knots

Wind direction also important........if it's offshore then we can get the bream close in [???]

Today........ I went out on the Ledge [bit of a roll] ...... but inshore , nice and smooth.

Again, thanks for the support guys.

The weather isnt looking good though. Wind direction is less of an issue - ENE, but with an increasing 5-7 it would be too risky esp. for the smaller boats in the club.

I'll make a call tomorrow eve and post on here.

Cheers
