Oli Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 Just wanted to drop by and say hello to everyone, my dad and I have just joined the club. We keep Sweet Chariot, our Arvor 230 at Parkstone Bay and were told about the club by Tom Bettle who couldn't speak highly enough of it - so here we are! Looking forward to many enjoyable trips and comps in the bay, we don't need much of an excuse to get out there! Tom also mentioned a certain Alderney trip which sounds fantastic. Thanks for the emails we received welcoming us. Oli & Nick Maingay Quote

Now, I don't know if Dave is taking the mickey, but the sentiment is there. Welcome Oli. Hope you and the old man have a great time as members of the club. Doing my best to make Alderney, but money is tight. Also have been told I have to work on the Monday now! I may try and get out for an offshore wrecking / codding trip instead? Tom Quote

wrigler Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 lAs a neutral onlooker and a parkstone bay boat owner I would say Tom deserves a vote of thanks for the members he points towards OUR club. He introduced me to the club and int' site and in this tough financial time (Him as well as us)he continues to post advice and help to all members. Welcome Oli from K4AD at B10 Terry Quote
