Jim
Just spilt Thinners on one of Small Fry's windows. Made a right mess. At 40 odd quid + 15 p&p for a new one, I might take a butchers at this stuff. Thanks Graham. Jim
Jim
Just had a look. Well worth spending the money for a big expensive window. I'll just try to buy some Polycarbonate locally. Anyone know where ? Jim

wrigler
I had a couple of nasty marks on my merry fishers windows caused by contact by contact of rod ends when packing gear away .Unfortunately I can't remember the name of firm I was sent to apart from it very near Alder rd recreation ground. He supplied me with a very fine sheet of wet & dry to rub the scratches and a small jar of polishing compound . It worked a treat. Scratches gone The interesting thing he did say was if I didn't have the polishing compound brasso liquid (not pads) would do the same job. Maverick Martin
If your going to replace the screen and it's not curved then why not think about toughened glass. That would end the problem of scratches caused by wiper blades Martin
great white
wrigler I believe that company is called Precision Plastics.

Adam F
Jim, Have a chat with me at the next meeting about replacing Warrior windows. You can polish them to a degree - but the better option is Lexan Marguard - it is better than glass. Gordon Moore saw mine and did his straight away. I did both Blue Warrior my 165 and Out of the Blue my 175. The stiff Warrior fit is sh%te. This stuff doesnt scratch either. They make riot shields out of it! There is quite a long thread on here somewhere if you search around. Adam Edited July 12, 2009 by Adam F
