Hope I am allowed to do this. If not I will make a donation to either help for Heroes or RNLI

For a very small fee you can sponsor part of the website and have a proper ad up.

Speak to our Chairman, Paul Jennings (PaulJ).

I used to sponsor part of the site when at Southern MB and it was really inexpensive stuff.

If you saved that page as a favourite a long time ago, I think it will still  display it when you first open PBSBAC using your favourites ?

I Think ? ?

Jim

I've deleted the site from favourites, and come to it via a Google search, it's still there, I give up. I'll have to ignore it, only problem is I won't see any new adverts that get put there to replace SMB.

It's still if I now click on Home at the top of this page.

I am sorry  unsure.gif  I am not doing it on purpose.

It's not on my home page  unsure.gif

Anyway.  This threas is about Moonfleet angling's priests.

I hope Ian gets some bits and bobs on here  He's a decent chap running a cottage industry of extremely good products.

Good on him

Its not about Ian. Our swap and shop section clearly states private ads only. It would be unfair on our other sponsors if we did not apply the rules as in our terms of use. Any other trader would have received the same response. I have deleted many ads over the years I did not however delete this one. We used to allow you a little licence in the forums as the company you represented paid for the hosting of this site, a fair swap I think.

Ian can offer his wares under the appropriate heading "Fishy Business" within the constraints of the rules of that heading He has been informed of that with an account being set up for him to use.

I don't think our rules are any more arduous or draconian than any other site.

Hi Martin

I have no problem with it at all. Our site is certainly much easier and more pleasant to deal with than some of the others! wink.gif

I don't think Ian ever meant to bend any rules. As it happens, I know he is selling these priests for a mate... I saw it on another site.

Not even sure if he is making a profit from them.

Not a lot of difference from (and not singleing anyone out on purpose), for example, Trevor's smokies which I for one was extremely pleased to find out about!

As far as I can tell, he is simply a new member trying to find ways of getting involved with and getting the most out of the club.

Not sticking up for Ian at all. Don't know him at all well, in fact he and I have had a big bust up before, but I think we should try and welcome our new members a little more cordially.

Ian has a wealth of knowledge, specifically on species hunting and inshore fishing to the west of our territory. He does also make bleeding good rigs which he has been known to supply as prizes in our comps.

As far as I can tell, Ian and his newly refurbished 15 foot angling boat is a genuine addition to our membership...

Tom, i refer you to the following post and thats before he's joined the club

http://www.pbsbac.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=9045&hl=

As Martin has stated:

Ian can offer his wares under the appropriate heading "Fishy Business"

Any other discussion on this should be moved to the club only section, now lets move on

cheers

PJ
