The birth of a Cat

Well, work is underway on the new boat. She dosen't look like the one we were measuring up the other week yet, but I am sure the guys at Cheetah Marine know what they are doing.

 

I tried to put pics on this post but couldn't make it work so if anyone is interested there are some pics in my photo album.

Are you having the Hysu Foils fitted

 

Always promised myself if I got a cat I'd treat myself and the cat to Hysu Foils.

Just wondering if for the first year a new cat should be called a kitten? If so watch out I know its going to be moored next to an old dog!!

Na Trev not fitting Hysu Foils, already spent too much and my research dosen't show there would be much, if any advantage on a smaller Cat .

Colin you made a simple error. When you post into the IMG line you must make sure that the http:// is not duplicated ie http:// is already in the img line when you open it, when you paste the address in that line you might end up with: http://http://www.pbsbac.co.uk/photoalbum/albums/userpics/11191/boblin2No1.jpg

Note the beginning of the line that's highlighted. Delete one http:// and your picture should then appear.

have fished on these boats very roomy and fast did you go on the one at southampton boat show this was alans boat we took this to brittle stars last year a few times she handaled very well only fault when you walk on i always banged my head on bulk head lol

We have not fished off a Cheetah yet. Yes we were on the one at Southampton and did the deal with Sean whilst sat on her. Sean is raising the cabin moulding a bit so hopefully we wont keep banging heads on the overhang.

Well things are moving along slowly. There has been a hold up on the deck material, but Sean at Cheetah assures us that the suppliers now have the 40mm honeycombe in stock. so things should speed up again now.

A . Do I have to wipe my feet before getting on board ?

Things moving again now had email from Sean at Cheetah they have the deck honeycomb and are getting on with the build again.

 

Also picked up the last of my electronic package from Matt today, YES!!!! my nice shiny new Structure Scan. All we need now is a Cat to fit all the bits and gadgets to.

 

Good luck to all those that have boats and are having a go at the fish, we will be out there soon so when you find them leave a few Red Spots for us.

Dont like to worry you but they seem to be putting the wheelhouse upside down. Is that what you mean by a structure scan--you'll certainly be able to see all round underwater---only joking--it looks great. I'm having my trailer rebuilt so that I can bring my boat home to tart it up. One has to keep up with new cat that is going to be on the next mooring. On second thoughts maybe that sounds too much like hard work--you'll just have to put up with a scruffy boat next door!!
