  2. If I could find the time to use her once a month it would be a bonus!! Think I need to go dry stack. Any ideas for a poor bloke chaps??
  3. Hi All has anyone got a road trailer which will take a 21 ft 2.2 tonne boat, which I could borrow / hire for 1-2 weeks please? Would only be used from Xchurch to Poole there and back - to and from a repair shop to get hernew deck. Any help gratefully received. Cheers Trev
  4. Belated Happy Birthday................... too much cake Del................. too much cake.
  5. Perhaps some better footware and some bicycle clips!! Wouldn't want to get your turn-ups hooked on a bolt head. Family mate did this for years and said it's a young man's game. Gave it up when he had kids for all the right reasons. We've seen some proper hairy photos
  6. The purpose of one for 'Otter' is to keep the voids under the deck free from condensation - not for removing fumes from the engine bay as is most common for inboard petrol engines. Thank you all.
  7. Thank you Martin. My particular issue is condensation forming below the sealed deck which has gradually softened the deck by being continuously wet.
  8. Does anyone use bilge blowers to keep down condensation under / below decks? Seems the recent deterioration below Otter's deck was most likely caused by an epoxy coat on the outside preventing moisture egress. I am advised this is prevented by fitting bilge blower ventilation in these cases and should be routinely fitted, if not already in place. What do you guys know?? Cheers Trev
  9. Can anyone recommend someone or a co. who could replace the deck on a small craft please? I need to track someone down ASAP even if the work has to wait as my mooring fee is due soon. Cheers Trev

  12. With all of the bag vacuum sealers without exception you need to be careful with wet stuff as they will fail to seal if you draw 'stuff' into the seal zone.
  13. Dito, Andrew James one. Does all my bait, smoked stuff and other food indoors. The sleeving is quite expensive but good quality and is easily washed and reused if you don't mind the fiddle.
