  1. You are right Martin they never make a mistake now what was that called "IMAX" I think!!!!!!! One thing you have to say is the second bridge has made road traffic around Poole better for sure. That week back to one bridge will highlight that!
  2. Hi Rik Welcome to the club, I'm based at Cobb's so always about. The best thing is to get involved and ask lots of questions. As my boat came out the water yesterday it maybe ideal for you spend some time helping me polish, clean, maintain and generally see where you can spend money on our floating investments!!! Worth a try!! I'm sure you will enjoy, I'm out by the Dry stack office if you are about and fancy a chat. Chris
  3. Birthday wishes gents, I had to take Nigel fishing!!
  4. Lofty, fair play you give it your all. A result yet again getting your target fish. A long day with the driving on top, well done. Selfies are good too!!
  5. Good luck Stuie, just a small thing stopping me going "WORK" go get em! A nice bass like Pauls to start the season off would be nice.

Nice one Jim, I went aswell in my dreams, but was in a driver awareness course at Winfrith instead!! :(
  8. Hi, Was there a thread with this years Comp dates on posted? There only seems the kayak plaice chase and species comp (19th & 20th April) in the calendar. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
  9. No water should come from there via header tank, the water through the exhaust comes from raw water pump. That still does not explain how the water got into the sump so fast as on the fill up! A cracked header tank would explain it getting into piston pots when running. I would suspect a cracked liner / block to get in that quick. I have also had this when liner seals have gone. If rebuilt correctly this should have all been checked while stripped. The Volvos dont like over heating everything cracks and a right bas----d to find everything at once. Their gearboxes are the same, overheat them then scrap them! Good luck with getting resolved, but I suspect you may have several problems there! Chris
  10. Hi Nige Good to see things are moving along for you, hope all goes well and the momentum keeps going. You will soon be ready for the season. Good luck.
  11. Cheers Charlie I will sort it asap on my return.
  12. Struggle to get me in there Bob! Just got in from pub / bar tv on no interest fron Russians watching it! We gave team GB a big cheer and feeling was we were going to be dragged outside and shot, not ideal, new bar tomorrow thinks!
