If anyone is looking to keep the kids entertained this weekend there is an Open Weekend at Cobbs Quay. RYA and RNLI etc involved. Tour around boats and jet ski,s and and!!! Boat jumble, climbing wall, hog roast, bbq etc. If somone can add a link to it may help.

Hi Nige Didnt win it but it was left on the prize table, value of £300 and someone else doing the work great prize. Having worked repairing boats for years its a bus mans holiday for or me doing a service!! Chris

One of the prizes I won from the Open Comp was an engine service from PMS. It had to be used by the end a last year, so I went and had a chat with them as I had not long carried out a service. No problem, I was told and I booked it in before the lift out. Just want to saya big thank you to PMS and Ollie Drew who carried out the service, you could eat dinner in the engine compartment how it was left. New, oil and filters, fuel filters through out, new belts, new impeller and gearbox filter and oil. Cracking job and a cracking prize to be up for grabs. Hopefully get a chance to win it again this year. Well done to all for the effort they put into the comps. Chris

Kingfisher gained full marks for fish conservation today!! No flounders, only one very small whiting. Well done to all today who caught a flounder, It was very cold to be removing poxy crabs all day! Chris

Hi Adam I have watched others go on the trip for a couple of years on the site. You can count me in this year. In the diary!! Same as Martin will look to stay on the boat at the moment. Lets hope the weather looks after us and no cancelations to work around. Chris
