Well done Jacob what an angler.
Anything any bigger might pull you over the side!!
Keep it up and you will be able to grapple the flounder comp trophy off your grandad next!!
Chris
Well done everyone who puts their time into organising all comps, lots of hard work behind the scenes.
Well done everyone who fished, a hard day but good results to show for their effort.
A brilliant effort from the juniors considering the conditions.
Good try lads, and well done on the PBs.
Looks like the chainsaw massacre has taken place on board!!
Lucky it was calm with all that weight up top Nige.
Like you say its a fun day but none stop.
Theres always next time, we could buddy up and try to surround them!
Hope its not a major proplem with the boat.
Chris
For anyone out at night as I reported yesterday the cardinal bouy south of hook sands has been moved 100 metres south.
I have had it confirmed today by PHC as yatchs were hitting the bottom close to it. (Sands have shifted!!)
I very nearly hit it on the way in Friday night as it is an unlite marker too.
I will be updating my plotter mark.
May be useful to someone!
Chris
Was going to have dangle and gain some brownie points with a family day out on the boat! Great day out but very little fishing as on drinks and food duty all the time for the guests!! Good day out, brownie points in the bag only for me! Chris

Popped out and had a look last night, wind was nowhere near as bad as was predicted.
Loads of mackys so dropped the anchor for some rays.
We had undulates up to 16.5 lb and a couple of small eyed, then had a couple of blondes.
All species caught at the same time, meaning all undulates together etc!!
Some LSDs as always, then my son got himself a nice bit tea with a bass just over 3lb, he was well pleased.
Up anchor around 10.45 as wind was gathering pace and back to Cobbs for washdown.
Came in south of Hook Sands and the cardinal was a far way south than on the plotter so just worth checking when you out. I have Garmin so just worth looking at as its unlit!!
Cheers
Chris
