Thanks Laura and Mal for hosting the bbq, we had a great time.

Well done lofty. We managed 5 species each too, and 6 for the boat.I think Jerry did better. We did manage 11 bream in the end. We take our hats off to you Kayak guys it was not the best of conditions. We did try to retrieve an anchor for Iain but sadly the line snapped but we did get his buoy and anchor reel back for him.

Century have just brought out one which looks good. We use an old Royal Mail sack or just weigh them in the net and weigh the net (every time )after and subtract the difference.

Boat jumble at North Haven Yacht Club Sat 1st April. Non members welcome. Bacon butties available. If anyone is looking for the best priced moorings in Poole this would be a great time to check out this club.

No Flounders for 23 fishing 😭. We had some cracking bass though!

Don’t forget the open flounder comp in aid of the RNLI, which was postponed will be this Sunday 22nd jan. All you lucky people who are stuck in Holes bay will have the pick of the best flounder spots.

We are planning for Fri, and Sunday fishing the RNLI open flounder comp.

The fisheries are boarding boats and measuring fish. Mackerel, Bream, Pollack etc. We have had a couple of visits out in the bay. Just remember they have body cams!!

Looks like the ladies in the club are into the Tope. Not as big as Wendy’s but still nice for Bobi at 24lb 7oz .

Boblin had a pleasant day,with an assortment of species. We might have had a few more species if a small pod of 4 Dolphins hadn’t decided to befriend us for over an hour. They were hunting directly under us it was very interesting to see 1 Dolphin would break away and chase what ever they were after towards the other 3. Who cares about the fishing when you can watch these wonderful mammals. Our list is: Cuckoo Wrasse Ballan Wrasse Goldsinny Wrasse Baillons Wrasse Goby Black Bream Smoothound Plaice LSD Conger Pout So a total of Eleven for us

Just wish to clarify that nonmembers fish will not count to the boat tally, it’s members only is this correct?
