Thanks for the replies. I have bought and fitted a Swan setup very easy DIY except that I wanted to run all cables internally and having had a loft conversion I found I am just a little large for crawling through behind the walls in the eaves. I only got stuck once, I found it fine crawling forward on my front but going in reverse was bloody awkward and painful.. Still all done now and picture quality is very good on the HD system. With regards to loosing fingers I would like to cut a lot more off the b....rds than just their bloody fingers.

We were rudely awoken at three fifty this morning to the sound of the van alarm. Some little toe rag decided to smash the drivers window and slash two brand new tyres (only fitted last month) on the van. This is the second time we have been targeted in the last six weeks the first attack was our front bay window which was smashed with a lump of concrete at one thirty in the morning. Is there anyone in the club who supplies/fits security cameras or can recommend someone please. I really need to find someone pretty quick 'cos being hit twice in such a short time is very worrying. Thanks for reading this hope someone can help. Cheers Colin

Hi Steve welcome to both clubs we are on C6 at North haven there are a few more PBSBSAC members there too. What's your mooring we will keep an eye out for you.
-
Rich you should have come over after all there was at least 5 meters between us plenty of room for another.
-
Yeah Nige but she did just drop it a rods length over the side of Boblin!!! By the way we did have 24 bream from 2lb to 2lb 14oz.
-
Snuggled is not the word! Nige even managed to pull in Bobi's line on one occasion. I think he wanted to check what rig and bait she was using as she was bringing in a few nice bream too.
-
We managed 12 nice Bream to 2lb in a couple of hours. We saw you heading back in Stuie we were 100 mtrs south of Steve. Bobi had a very early Garfish on the bottom which was a surprise and a nice Corkwing.

Just to say the October fish of the month was shared by myself and Nigel. Don't want Nigel to miss out.

Charlie and Budgie I agree miss those trips all over the country fishing for the AAF and the combined services teams. Budgie are you the same budgie that I new when I was in the mob. I was the big ugly back caster. In fact I still am ( before Rob says it ) With regards to the match fishing I have to agree that it is bloody hard work. If you want to win you have to work at it and it is a continuous process. I used to match fish shore, and boat and trout fly fishing, only through lots of prep and practice did I manage to get a few good results. It's great that you are going to give George your support Mike. I'm sure you will both learn lots and put into practice what you learn. I wish you both all the best in your quest for knowledge. I am still tempted sometimes to have a go at the odd match,I have even got myself a tubertini quiver tip and had great fun with it on Tuesday. Who knows I might even join you sometime Mike and George. Good luck to you both.

Hear hear Martin. So the flounder comp is sacrificed for a Cod comp that produced no Cod, so what happens if there are no Cod this time??.If the Flounder comp produces no flounders we then have two comps to reschedule. There is the danger here of setting a precedent, every time a comp has a bad result will we have to fish it again???? And again and again until the nominated fish is caught. As Martin says we are a democratic club. So air your views and help Neil make his decision.
-
Nige what I am saying is, the comp was fished and nothing was caught therefore the trophy doesn't get awarded this year. If the comp had been postponed then another date would be fine, but it wasn't and a lot of boats braved the bad conditions.
-
The Cod comp was fished on the set date. No Cod weighed in. End of. That's fishing...... Try again next year.
