  7. For the car i have an adjustable 12v adaper that Plugs into the ciggy ligther. I re-rigged the wiring on a battery powered aerator for the car and adjust the voltage down to suit. I also have a normal battery powered one for the trip from the car to the boat (precious cargo). Running two would be better and taking some ice packs would be good too keep the temp down. Put them somewhere where they don't get bounced around too much and if youre passing salt water - change it. PJ West wales-i love it, im going to Cardigan in a couple of weeks
  8. Thanks Dave, Went down today and disconnected everything, then Paul D came along and we got it off the boat. Paul then had a look and found a small hole in the case, it looks like one of the rods came off and punched a hole in the case. Well at least now we know what happened. Im now on the hunt, my budget is

  12. Cheers Guys, i will be pottering around the harbour with my auxuliary for a while till i get it replaced and yes it will have power tilt! Cant figure out why it happened, tell tale and fuel mix were fine, but 10 seconds after hearing the noise, (loud rattleing) i shut down and that was it. Went to Strides on the auxilary to check it out and got the terminal diagnosis. The painful bit will be getting round the missus PJ
  13. It did me well for a while but it finally died, on the way back from a fruitless sesson the engine ceased up solid and is history I'll be availble to crew for a while PJ
  14. Rich, i have one ( from live bait larrys) that is set at an angle that allows water up when on the move and the pump off, it would be worth looking for these PJ
