Problem sorted- they have introduced a beefed up spacer with stainless pins instead of plastic If anyone is passing Cobbs in the next couple of days and can pick up the part ( no charge) please give me a shout Its a spacer for a masterguard hub size 11 Thanks Paul J

Guys, i have a Hustler prop and a masterguard hub kit-(attached fig 5) what is happening is the prop nut and washer are digging themselves into the prop spacer. the prop spacer pegs that hold the washer have been shaved off and the nut is trying to work it self towards the prop digging itself a hole as it goes. anyone know why this is happening? and what damage it's causing? I got it from Prop revs in Poole- but they are never open on weekends. Cheers Paul J

use hot melt glue, its bulky and its easy to replace the tip in a huury. Carry a spare tip and lighter for emergencies. you only need a get a nick in the cermaic ones and you could potenttially loose half your braid PJ
