  14. Lots of staff holidays in August so I'm limited to long w/e
  15. I've also been thinking about doing this type of trip, Random harvest charter based at Poole done it last year and had 7 blues and he's going again in august
  16. You know I've got some of the kit you list Trev but I was lazy and had a marine electrician fit it,you'll need it all networked and if you run 2 screens on the Gen2 get one with chart plotter and fish finder the other can be just a plotter as they share info/functions.This then really does away with a fluxgate compass as radar overlay is overrated IMHO,so chart on one screen plus sounder and radar on the other, there you go just saved you£1500 I'm on boat tomorrow PM come on down if possible and have a play Nigel
  17. Fish finder with mounting bracket ,power lead and screen cover will need a transponder.works very well Can bring to meeting only selling as upgraded to touch screen £150 Nigel
  18. They do it to stun mackerel and also use their tails then eat the stunned fish
  19. Wishin too is back on her mooring now, no listing but a few snags which will hopefully be done there. It's been a tiring journey but I'm glad I didn't give up hope and sell her......it's still awesome. Thanks to all for your good wishes and trips out and offers of trips Nigel
  20. Scorpion fish
  21. Are you both fishing the comp Saturday? If not drop them off to me and I'll give them to Tony
  22. I'll probably be out late afternoon .........just to have a blast about ;-))
  23. Picked her up tonight with Mal from Lymington.ive only got her for the w/e for snagging, engine and leg are sweet with engineer telling me he got 35knts out of her this afternoon but we had 30 knts against the tide and chop and 24 cruising. The snag list is very large even after a 45min trip to my mooring in Christchurch ,some quite serious.......like a 4 inch listing to starboard which I was expecting after a half hearted attempt to dry her out. I've been very patient and calm this last 6 months,THAT IS CHANGING as of Monday morning. So I will be enjoying her this Sunday as I'm working tomorrow morning and sorting a few things on the boat in the PM So nice to drive her again Nigel
  24. I have been informed sea trial this Friday, keeping my fingers crossed there's no issues ...........but it is a boat [emoji6]
