Honest no card slot,even if I remove silver cover completely it is blank Google HDS 5X UPDATE and it does tell you there is no sd slot Honest I`m not going mad Nige

Rob I bought the sonar only unit HDS 5x.Been talking to mate in Southampton who will link up or Rob skipper of Shogun has HDS units.But I may update and sell unit and upgrade to a 8 or 10 inch screen again a Hds unit Nige

Most definately does not have slot hence reason/info on updates on web about linking to plotter that does via ethernet Nige

Hi all I have a HDS fishfinder which I need to update to run my new toy a sidescan on it but the software needs to be 2.5 or later,mine is 1.5,but does not have a SD card slot.If any member has a hds plotter which takes a SD card they can update and if I link mine to theirs via ethernet cable then that will update mine.Any help would be great otherwise I`ll have to send to Navico Thanks for any help guys Nige
