Looked ok 3pm today from boscombe overcliff, a little bit of swell but not much.

Only tried downriggers once but my crew man couldn't steer straight!!!!! so i gave up and went out mid chan instead! mike

Contagious is out, going down west, may even look at shambles area over slack tide as think tides will be too strong, will have the northerly breeze to push me OUT! mike

Anyone out sunday? As we have north winds i'm thinking of launching from kimmeridge so i can fish close in and keep out of the breeze!!!!! Hoping to use downriggers and troll for bass but wait and see if my crew member can steer in straight line If anyone knows any sandbanks in that area where i may be able to feather some sandeels/launce it would be helpful Cheers mike

Going out sunday hoping for a bass or two, will be using downriggers with lures OR maybe live sandeel if i can buy any! Or joeys if can catch any. Does anyone know whether the kiosk at the quay sell them and what time they might open?
