  1. I need to get Neo launched sometime ( from Wick ) to check that my repairs to the piping between the two skins have had the desired effect ( as in no longer leaks like a fountain ! ). Want to get this done ASAP so when the better weather comes I can get straight out there after the fish.
  2. What colour are the wires ? This shows what the wires are for :- Mercury./Mariner Wiring

  8. James, As soon as the weather improves I intend to be off out after the bream and you are more than welcome to crew. I will post on here when I need crew ( probably within next 2 weeks or so - weather willing ). Keep an eye out. cheers Paul

    InExcess

Mike, I have a Fladen 555 ( I think that is the number ) - multiplier and it has lasted for a year but the drag is hosed now...... ( sort of on/off ) I am sure they will last longer if looked after but it really is a case of "you gets what you pay for" I am afraid.
  10. re: Mackeral. I recall fishing for them on Mother's Day off Chesil something like 8 years ago.
  11. That's a nice picture James and good to see the fish are around and taken on the plug. Just need some decent weather now and Neo will be out after em

    Mans Logic

Man's Logic I received a phone call from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend this morning who called 'out-of-the-blue' to see if I was still around. We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic times we used to enjoy together. I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd be interested in meeting up and rekindling a little of that 'old magic'. 'Wow!' I was flabbergasted. 'I don't know if I could keep pace with you now', I said, 'I'm a bit older and a bit grayer and balder than when you last saw me. Plus I don't really have the energy I used to have.' She just giggled and said she was sure I would 'rise to the challenge'. 'Yeah.' I said. 'Just so long as you don't mind a waistline that's a few inches wider these days! Not to mention my total lack of muscletone... everything is sagging, my teeth are a bit yellowed and I am developing jowls like a Great Dane!' She laughed and told me to stop being so silly. She teased me saying that tubby, gray-haired, older men were cute, and she was sure I would still be a great lover. Anyway, she giggled and said, 'I've put on a few pounds myself!' So I told her to f**k off.
  15. Should have the correct date on now.
  16. Rob, I have added them to the Competition Details link. Hopefully I have copied them in all OK - could someone check for me please.

    Happy Birthday

    All the best Duncan
  18. Interesting article here on RSA in Sweden. RSA = 10x commerical
  19. Could that be why the fishing was poor as well ? or probably just me
  20. I might be tempted to test out my repaired boat to ensure that the pipe for the self draining deck no longer leaks. Sunday though as off to watch football on Staurday.
  21. I bought some 10mm three strand nylon from barry Edwards ( The Ebay site quoted ) and it as smooth as silk. However, I then purchased three whole reels of 12mm three strand nylon for Maverick, Bob F and myself and I was disappointed with this rope as it was nowhere near as supple as the 10mm rope I had bought before. Motto of the story is :- get a sample before buying a whole reel as one nylon rope is not the same as another.
  22. Also planned on going out today, but changed my mind when at the football in Southend. The wind was a brisk freezing cold easterly, so decided to stay in the warm today.

    next weekend

I might be able to get the web site working - but getting the weather to change is beyond my abilities I think ! Although, it has been said a long time ago that I had been dabbling in weather manipulation stuff in between receiving signals from outer space ( but that is a story for a rainy day ! )
  24. Happy returns Paul and may you have many fish in 2008
  25. All the best Tom
