Duncan,
You are correct - I must remember to do that as I had same thoughts. Also I intend to put links of British Record and specimen sizes as well ( I have data all loaded to go ).
You will notice that you can now view the club records and the list of trophy winners using the new buttons at the top of the site.
I will add new features to this bar in future
Noticed that someone out there ( some deranged foreigner no doubt ) is attempting to post catch reports which contain nothing to do with catching fish !! ( I suspected this would happen and it would only be a matter of time )
Due to this I will soon be moving the catch report button to within the forum and protect this using forum logons ( ie. You will have to be a club member to report catches ).
It's not that bad - that car deserved to get stuck driving all that way across the beach.
Looking forward to it already and not convinced that anyone who was planning on going will suddenly change their mind.
How many are confirmed by the way ?
Neo
Nipper
OOTB ?
Enticer ?
Cimmara
Crew should not be a problem if someone needs some as I know some who have no boat to trail who would willingly crew.
Anyone else going ?
Heard the boat in trouble out there yesterday. Was it rope around the prop or something like that ?
Interested now if you were on your "summer mark" or the earlier mark when we spotted you out ?
Myself and Helen popped out for a quick blast as well. Only fished for an hour or so and Helen had her first bream of the season. One doggie for me. Launching with the new trailer is now such a breeze.
No can do I am afraid Gordon.
Re: Sand at Burnham, I shall be staying close to the tractor ......
Car on Beach
They've got a tractor though

Cant tell you the exact time but the best place to meet is in the cafe right next to the slipway.
There is a car park for the supermarket opposite.
The slipway is at the end of Pier Street where it joins South Esplanade
Neo was crewless but now Bob Fuller will be crewing on Neo as Sam cannot make the date ( exams ).
If Splash-Out is available then I will crew on Splash-Out.
Interesting article I found which shows how long things take to degrade at sea.
Aluminium Drinks can I would have thought would be quite fast but actually takes 80 to 200 years !
Mono fishing line - 600 years
Commerical Netting - 30 to 40 years
Untreated Plywood - 3 years
Cotton Rope - 1 year
Plastic Bag 10 - 20 years
Food for thought.
Also Cigarette butts are made out of a type of plastic which is deterimental to fish and 9% of beach debris is smoking related materials.
Coastal Litter
I will be going and Sam Chapman will be crewing. ( Will be looking for a tow onto the beach though as dont fancy taking the car down there ).
BTW: Did you see you were in BFM today.
It was about as low as they come when your returned last weekend.....
Dont recall seeing how your retrieval went but I did see a rib totally wreck one of their wheelrims by trying to bump the trailer up over the dropoff at the end ( which is around 1 ft + now ).
Agreed re: need for a stainless prop. If the price is right though
Mike, It is the same pitch as my existing prop, just an extra 1/4 inch in dia.
I am not necessarily looking for any improvement, just found it and decided it could be a good buy.
Spotted what I think will be a suitable propellor for my E-Tec.
Current propellor is 13 1/2 x 15 aluminium, so would a 13 3/4 x 15 stainless prop be too big ?
Apparently it fits a 4 1/2 inch gearbox ( whatever that means ).
It has the correct number of splines and I am 99% sure the diameter will fit and seems near enough to existing size.
Will it fit ?
What are you accessing - works fine for me. ( Click Photo Gallery at top of page here and takes me to the photo gallery. )
What is the exact message you are seeing ?
This is the taped phone call of a prank which someone thought would be good to play on their wife.
Get their boss to call her and pretend that he was being made redundant .....
It backfires though
