Thanks for the Birthday wishes Guys, much appreciated. Not a bad day overall ,started off well with wins on the premium bonds for myself,wife son and daughter.(not massive so hold onto those begging letters) lounged about for most of the day and then all off for a nice meal at a local pub. I had a few very nice Doombars there and had some special beers given to me as presents. Early night called for I think😇

I use 12mm multiplait on mine and love its suppleness and ease of handling and storage. 10mm would have been fine on mine but I preferred slightly thicker as I found it easier to handle. Prices have gone through the roof with some suppliers and brands so make sure you do a good on line search to get the best prices. Have a look at ropeservices uk they are on ebay or direct I use the Alderney ring system like Terry and keep the rope in ventilated anchor bag(s) in the anchor locker .The bag can be lifted out of the locker onto the deck when needed and keeps all the rope contained without tangling in the locker. I am fortunate to have a very large anchor /storage locker and am able to carry 2 anchors and 2 bags of rope plus another bag of 100m of braided rope to extend either if required.

Hi Ian, Thanks for your feedback,the boat is on the drystack at Cobbs Quay Marina. There are a number of brokers there so I will have to do the rounds. Just mentioned Blue Lagoon as somebody had previously recommended them as a fast turnover, low commission outfit.

Well the day has finally come when I have decided to sell Reflections 2. I have owned her since 2006 and she has served me very well over that time but I have gradually lost the incentive for fishing..
