    that yacht is up for charter if you fancy it $250,000 a week the mast is 80m tall and it has a 10m deep retractable keel !!!!
  2. in my previous life when i went fishing anything forward of the gills counted on the theory that the fish was showing an interest in the bait
  3. anchoring is not generaly the most productive out there as for rope it all depends on which tide you anchor flood tide it 250ft on the ebb the pick would go down in about 150ft but in my humble opinion its not worth the effort historicaly the cod start to show in numbers from the end of may

  8. martin it is worth taking a supply of nosh for on the boat as the shop dont open till 8am up the top of the hill or 9am down the bottom so take enough drink to do 4 days at least that can be put on ice along with any perishable food . be prepared. safest way is assume that nothing is available you wont go far wrong

  12. not easy to weld the plate on if there are wires run inside, they will melt,the furuno gps should talk to the garmin plotter so the garmin antenna is not required keep it as a spare as it should plug in to the back of the furuno as well quite simple only two wires to connect
  13. just a thought , before doing any mods put the second antenna where you want it and power both sets up ,as some antennas do interfere with each other if they are to close together the same with vhf ariels the gps can mess them up to !!!!!!

  20. the shore fishing out there is so good you dont need boats just 14ft boat rods and 4/0 reels some people i know were in namibia in jan and had some huge fish , 30lb bream got to be worth a go dont you think specialy of the shore !!!!

  23. should have been there sunday 2 6lb + plaice and turbot to 16lb were caught. on monday thw wrecks fished well i had 10 pollack to double figures a ling and a personal best coalfish of 9lb all on storm shads on 15lb class tackle without loseing any gear pretty good !!!!!
  24. bit early for bass yet but bream are putting in an appearance at worbarrow and will show near the shambles soon
