  1. Only if you come to the meeting I'll be the man in the middle of the top table, unless Tony D (Chairman) can get a stannah lift fitted before then Martin
  2. Hi John and welcome to pbsbac. Reading your first few posts I think you will fit in here nicely. More important than ofcom etc is getting yourself signed up as a proper member of this club As you say the amount of posts you make give you your title as follows: Minnow Basher 0 Pout Catcher 10 Dogfish Specialist 50 Cod Hauler 120 Shark Chaser 300 Marlin Master 1000 Not quite sure what that make me......probably old and worn out Enjoy the forum and the banter Martin
  3. Well done on trying Nick I went for a walk along by Ringstead and spent most of my time looking out to sea wishing I was there. Did enjoy being with the grandchildren in the sun though Martin
  4. Or if you can't make the meeting deliver trophies to a committee member Martin
  5. More photos on my Photobucket account Martin
  6. Both threads now merged to keep things tidy

  9. You might struggle there Tom You missing it yet Martin
  10. Below is the up to date of boats planning on going to Alderney this year. Any others interested? and is there a list of crew that would like to go? if not start one now so the boats can make appropriate arrangements

  16. Tom you're always welcome on AWOL but we are giving it a break for a month or so unless that is the weather warms up significantly soon Martin
  17. Hi Nick and welcome to pbsbac where you are welcome to join in as much as you like. Even more to see (and enjoy) with full club membership which is easily achieved via paypal. BTW I noticed you had tried to register twice ( I guess it was you as the signature was the same as this registration) but I only allowed this one, if it's ok with you I will delete the other registration pending ATB Martin
  18. very good
  19. That would be pretty much all forum pages, so beware you're being watched Also good for advertisers.....if their in the right sectors Talking of which I have a job (on behalf of the club) to do Martin
  20. FYI last month we had 254726 page views with our record month being September 2009 with 299922. 2009 was also our record year with 2157487 page views Just thought members might be interested in our stats not only that I'm bored Martin
  21. WOW over 10 million page views in 6 years of our latest site Someone likes us Not bad for a little (small boat) club Martin
  22. Feel for you Nigel Not a lot else I can say that hasn't already been said here or in other threads. Martin
  23. Thread cleaned up so as not to detract from op's advert Martin
  24. They are good value boats for the money but from what I have heard things do tend to fall off so expect minor repairs on a regular basis. The clue is in the first seven words of this post as boats and value for money are not bed mates. All that said look after it and it will look after you. Martin
  25. The following stats are lifted from the Mercury website (Same engine as the Mariner) and from that you can see the engine should rev somewhere between 5800 and 6400. If it were mine I would be worried about over stressing the engine components. I would want this engine to rev at a minimum of 6000 revs before I felt happy. At 4200 it isn't giving anything like what it should. It either needs a major re-prop or something is amiss with the engine Martin
