  8. Nigel Ive been looking at the Starfisher 840 and really like them. I think the one with a Yanmar 315 might be good for 30Knots on a good day but as Adam said it's not very often you would be able or afford to. Cruising at around 18-22knots suits me and many others fine. Other beast could be Rodman 870 or rodman 900 series (my preferred option) Oh and Thanks Adam for the plug Martin
  9. Nice one Nigel Exciting times Martin
  10. Tony I guess you're getting that message because the file your uploading is to large. Best way to overcome that is to either re size in mspaint or upload the file to either photobucket or flicker. These sites have easy resizing tools. then upload to here Hope that helps Martin

  15. 'JPG files should be ok but make sure they are reduced to an acceptable size. Probably best place to store your files would be photobucket or flicker and upload to our site from there. If you are still stuck then This thread may help Martin

Its' never to late to join in the Alderney trip but you will need to be quick especially with booking meals and accommodation etc. If there is anything you need to know about the trip either post in the Alderney section or ask at the next club meeting or maybe even better look at previous years Alderney threads loads of info in them Go on get involved Martin
  17. Dean and I went out today. The harbour was perfectly flat even in the breeze. Down the swash and it was a little different not rough but choppy at times. The wind was definitely a westerly 4 so would of been on our nose all the way to the shambles, so pleased we decided not to make the journey. Not quite so pleased with our results though no fish no crabs in fact nothing was touching our bait so best part of
