  3. Terry Harbour lights sounds good to me with the moorings for one or other or both of the other nights unless there is another suggestion (not to far up the hill plz ) Dean will follow so long as there is beer and AWOL'S newest crew member will speak for himself Martin
  4. Hi Ben Welcome back matey What do you want us to do with your old Santabarbra account? delete or merge with this one? Martin
  5. Well done Graham. No wonder you had a smile on your face when I saw you earlier Martin
  6. As a club member Tomo and member guests out on private trips that are unpaid not chartered are eligible to enter fish in our comps. So if you catch a fish freelancing that's also fine. None charter means a trip where no monies other than shared expenses (ie fuel) exchange hands. This also assumes the boat is under the max 35' permitted length as stated in the constitution/rules Martin
  7. Oh and another thing you will never be able to tell them they have something wrong as they know it all. Look out for a building site coming to Cobbs soon
  8. John when you have lived in Poole as long as I have you will learn that the BOP excell at cocking most things up.
  9. Allan What a machine, your patience has paid of and now its time to enjoy the fruits Martin
  10. In principle a rep from our club would be good so long as that representation was inline with the clubs own position however, to be fully represenative of our club it would have to go before the committee for agreement. Just so everyone is aware we do already have a conservation rep and someone else who is interested in some kind of representation. That said there is nothing to say that any angler belonging to pbsbac could not go without club backing as an independant representative of all anglers or some other organisation. Martin
  11. Oh but he does when he's on a proper boat
  12. Yeh but make sure you use treble hooks wouldn't want the barstewards to get away that easily

  17. Hi John and welcome to pbsbac. Reading your first few posts I think you will fit in here nicely. More important than ofcom etc is getting yourself signed up as a proper member of this club As you say the amount of posts you make give you your title as follows: Minnow Basher 0 Pout Catcher 10 Dogfish Specialist 50 Cod Hauler 120 Shark Chaser 300 Marlin Master 1000 Not quite sure what that make me......probably old and worn out Enjoy the forum and the banter Martin
  18. Well done on trying Nick I went for a walk along by Ringstead and spent most of my time looking out to sea wishing I was there. Did enjoy being with the grandchildren in the sun though Martin
  19. Or if you can't make the meeting deliver trophies to a committee member Martin
